Sunday School: Nurturing Young Disciples at Palace of Grace
Vision: To cultivate a vibrant Sunday School program that equips children with a foundational knowledge of the Bible, fostering a lifelong love for God and inspiring them to be Christ-like disciples in their communities.
Mission:
- Teach Biblical Doctrines: Based on the guidelines set forth by the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s “Directorate of Christian Education,” our curriculum emphasizes core biblical doctrines. We utilize the Bible, engaging manuals, and creative tools to deliver age-appropriate lessons that resonate with each child. (Proverbs 22:6) “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
- Instill the Authority of God’s Word: We strive to instill in our students a deep reverence for the Bible, recognizing it as God’s inspired word and ultimate source of truth. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
- Ignite a Passion for Faith: Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children can explore their faith, ask questions, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18) “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
- Empower Discipleship: We aim to equip our students with the knowledge and confidence to share their faith with others and integrate Christian values into their daily lives. (Matthew 28:19) “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
