Hebrew Women Ministry at Palace of Grace Parish Church
Mission:
The Hebrew Women ministry intercedes in prayer for pregnant women and families, trusting God’s blessings on their lives.
Scriptural Basis:
- Psalm 127:3-5 (NIV): “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are sons of one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.” This verse highlights children as a gift from God and a source of blessing.
- Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV): “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This scripture emphasizes trusting in God’s plan and timing, even when seeking a child.
- Genesis 25:21 (NIV): “Now Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord answered his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.” Here, Isaac prays for his wife Rebekah to conceive, demonstrating the power of prayer in God’s plan for families.
- 1 Samuel 1:1-20 (NIV): This passage tells the story of Hannah, who was barren and prayed fervently for a child. God answered her prayers, and she became the mother of Samuel, a prophet. It serves as a powerful example of God’s response to faithful prayer.
